How did it
start for us?
Our founder spent three hours every Monday on the same tasks — sorting emails, pulling reports, chasing invoices, answering the same questions. He tried every automation tool out there. Most needed a developer. The rest felt built for engineers, not for people who just needed work done.
So he built something different. Describe what you want in plain English, and the agent handles it. No code, no setup, no learning curve. TaskOff launched in February 2025. Within six weeks, 40,000 people had signed up — freelancers, small business owners, HR teams, restaurant owners — all with the same problem.
The mission hasn't changed: make automation simple enough that anyone can use it to get their time back.
