• About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own core product features end-to-end — from the lead scraping pipeline to the AI message generation engine. This isn't a cog-in-the-wheel role. You'll work directly with the founding team, have real say in architecture decisions, and ship things people actually use every day.

TaskOff is at an inflection point. We've got strong product-market fit, a growing customer base, and a backlog of features that will define the next chapter of the product. We need an engineer who can move fast without breaking things — and who genuinely cares about what they're building.

• What you'll do:

1. Work closely with the CTO and product team to ship features on a 2-week cycle

2. Improve reliability, speed, and scalability of our lead scraping and message generation infrastructure.

3. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.

4. Help define engineering best practices as we grow from 4 to 10 engineers over the next 12 months.

5. Debug and fix production issues quickly.

6. Build and own full-stack features across the TaskOff product — from database schema to UI component.

• What we're looking for:

MUST HAVE

1. 5+ years of full-stack experience (TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL).

2. Strong product instincts — you care about UX, not just code quality.

3. Experience building production systems used by thousands of daily active users.

4. Comfort owning projects independently from spec to ship.

5. Clear written communication — async-first culture.

NICE TO HAVE

1. Experience with web scraping, anti-bot systems, or data enrichment pipelines

2. Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering

3. Previous B2B SaaS or sales tech experience

4. Open source contributions or a side project you're proud of

1. Base: $120,000–$160,000 USD

2. Equity: 0.1%–0.3% options (4-year vest, 1-year cliff)

3. $2,000 home office budget (day one)

4. $1,000 annual learning budget
